Sandy PengLan
Sandy PengLan, is a painter currently residing in Shenzhen, China. Amedeo Modigliani is a significant influence on her artwork, which features careful application of colour to create depth and texture.
She began her relationship with art at an early age, “I have been fond of painting since my childhood. Due to economic reasons, I did not receive any special education in art. After starting my career, I began to use my spare time to paint, and gradually I began participating in exhibitions, which makes me very happy. I firmly believe that by doing what you like, you will reap unexpected benefits.”
Sandy received a management degree from Peking University and has been working in an international kindergarten for over a decade. Her work schedule allows for substantial holidays, allowing her plenty of time to pursue her passion for painting. In 2007, she sold her first artwork, and it gave her a massive boost of confidence in her painting. Her work has been exhibited in Dafen Art Museum (May 2017) and Guan Shanyue Art Museum (Jan 2018) in Shenzhen, China.
