Maezo
Maezo is a street artist whose work captures the thoughts and emotions found in everyday life. Through his art, Maezo hopes to bring colour and vitality into the world. He enjoys the freedom of creation and hopes that his work evokes this sense of freedom in his audience. Maezo is fascinated by street art and contemporary art, and his most significant source of inspiration is old school graffiti artists from New York. He admires how these artists created many new aesthetic styles, despite no formal artistic training. Experimentation is key to Maezo’s creative process, and he seeks non-traditional painting techniques and enjoys combining unusual elements in his pieces. He produces his artwork using spray paints, acrylic paints and brushes.
Maezo resides in Žďár nad Sázavou, Czech Republic and is active in the local art scene, organising and participating in art events and exhibitions for the past two years. In 2020 he became a member of the HIYA Gallery, Paris, France.
