Ovsanna Harutyunyan
Ovsanna Harutyunyan is an artist who uses each of her works as a way of thinking, recognition, clarification and understanding. Each element of the painting, the colour, shape, line, tone and composition is designed to enhance its overall meaning.
Her paintings open the doors to a world that encourages the viewer to reflect on themselves. Ovsanna says; ‘’You reveal yourself through your self-consciousness”. Instead of expressing her thoughts through the use of colour, it’s the colours themselves that are her thoughts. She explains, “It’s not me; it can be anyone. These are we. The art is revealed from the cage of subjectivism. It considers the concepts from the point of view of eternity.”
Ovsanna was born in Erevan, Armenia and is a graduate of the city’s Academy of Fine Arts. She currently resides in Moscow, Russia and her artwork features in private collections in Russia, the USA and the United Kingdom.
