Christine Iacobuzio-Donahue is a mixed media artist who resides in New York City. She is an alumnus of the Art2Life Creative Visionary Program and a member of the Art2Life Academy. Christine’s work is largely guided by her interests in science and nature. She aims to reflect the contrasts inherent to our experiences of the natural world both within and surrounding us; life versus death, order versus chaos, control versus randomness. These elements are reflected in her abstract art through the use of bold patterns, saturated colour or minimalistic design. However, true to her personality, humour often finds its way into her work. Sometimes she is the only one who gets the joke, but that’s ok.
