Margareta Trudh Bogren
Margareta Trudh Bogren’s artwork is a vibrant symphony of colour and texture. Her paintings are inspired by the colours she uses, nature, humans, feelings and spirituality.
She is an autodidact artist whose process is guided by intuition. When Margareta paints, she follows a natural inner knowledge that surpasses conscious intellect. She prefers working with acrylic paint, using intense, vivid colours, carefully layered to accomplish different effects. When her painting reaches a certain stage, she looks for shapes and forms and follows their outline with Posca pens. The result often surprises her, but it always lands where it is supposed to. She describes her work as ‘’abstract, experimental and intuitive’’.
Margareta hosted her first exhibition in December 2019, where five paintings found new homes. Born and raised in Sweden, she currently resides in the city of Västerås, in central Sweden.
