Mimo 米墨
Mimo is a freelance illustrator who hopes her artwork resonates with people, providing inspiration and provoking thought. Her artistic practice takes many forms, including painting, graphic design, jewellery, window display and floral design. She says, “I love to create art in a variety of ways, and switching disciplines energises me.”
She was born in Taiwan and graduated from the Department of Craft Design at National Taiwan University of Arts. She held three joint exhibitions during her studies, including two painting and one metalworking jewellery creation.
Her graphic illustrations depict feelings and events, and she often uses gouache to produce her work. However, diversity is fundamental to Mimo’s work, and she is currently incorporating computer graphics into her practice.
