Jeremy Allan
Jeremy Allan specialises in portraits and figurative paintings using oil paint and oil pastel. His artworks are inspired by the theme of lost identity, either of oneself or the surrounding environment. He says, ‘’It is a reflection of someone getting so stuck in their own thoughts, memories, and desires that they begin to fade away.”
Allan’s creative practice draws inspiration from Amedeo Modigliani, Egon Schiele, and Max Ernst. His work was exhibited at the San Valentino Arte exhibit in 2017 and 2018, featured in a short film and also published in the art magazine Sidewalk Bolzano: Dimensions Issue 1. Originally from New Mexico, USA, he currently lives and works in London, UK.
