Michelle Lee
Michelle Lee is an independent artist who currently resides in Arlington, Texas. She received her formal education at Dillard University, earning a bachelor’s degree studying Business Management in the Arts.
Michelle’s passion is creating inspirational artwork influenced by the beauty of the natural world. Her work aims to contribute positive energy to the viewer’s day and to highlight the beauty that’s all around us. “I want to encourage people to pause and be inspired”, says Michelle.
She creates her artwork using a combination of watercolours, graphite and coloured pencils. In addition to her personal projects, Michelle has illustrated the book ‘Momma’s Braids’ by Kimberly Griffin.
Her work is regularly exhibited in Texas, notably at Cleo’s Creations Fine Art Gallery, Fort Worth and featured in Dallas art shows including The RAW Premiere, Envision and several Chocolate and Conception exhibitions.
