Noor Qayyum
Noor Qayyum is a multi-disciplinary artist working with oil paint and gouache on canvas, wood and paper. She says, “I see my work as unfolding a visual song. I seek to create harmony through rhythm and flow of colours and form.’’
Noor graduated with a first-class BA in fine art from The Slade School of Fine Art, where she also studied philosophy. During her final year as an undergraduate, she was awarded a painting prize by Cass Art. Noor furthered her artistic education at the Royal College of Art, where she completed a master’s degree in painting. She was shortlisted for the Griffin Art Prize, the YCT prize by the Ingram Collection and was also included in the annual print exhibition by Clifford Chance LLP, who acquired a print for their collection. She resides in Zürich, Switzerland.
