Beatriz Garcia
Having grown up on São Miguel Island (Azores, Portugal) surrounded by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and beautiful Azorean landscapes filled with breathtaking flora and fauna, Beatriz’s passion for nature is evident in her subject matter. Native flowers, Portuguese vistas and the fauna that inhabit them are vividly represented by the artist utilising a bold colour palette and a distinctly unique aesthetic that blends realism with loose, painterly lines.

In November 2013, Beatriz participated in a collective exhibition at Ernesto do Canto Municipal Library in Ponta Delgada. Her first solo exhibition, Origem (Origin), will take place in 2021 at Ponta Delgada’s Municipal Culture Center.
Beatriz currently resides in Lisbon and is available for commission upon request.
