Expressive and rich, Missy Borden’s paintings convey the colours and depths of our internal world. Her work is designed to encourage introspection, and a deep connection and honesty lie within her art.
Primarily using acrylic on a variety of surfaces, Missy’s work begins with photographs and semi-blind contour drawings, translating the relationship of feeling and abstraction of thought within each painting.
Born and raised in Steamboat Springs, CO, Missy, her husband Scott and their four young children continue to make the valley their home.
