Katharina Schmidt
Katharina Schmidt is a contemporary abstract artist and art storyteller based in Helsinki, Finland. Her work focuses on fundamental questions about existence and life stories that are depicted in a simple, yet powerful manner. Her passion is to present abstract concepts that are familiar to all of us in a different visual format. “The purpose of my art is to surprise and fulfil, to bring peace and excitement - the best part of art is that it has no boundaries, and it has no rules that must be obliged. Art, in its essence, is the unbearable bliss of existence.”
Katharina has worked on a wide variety of commission paintings for clients and art collectors worldwide. She enjoys the challenges of bringing her artistic vision to life and creating the perfect piece of art for a bespoke space.
