Romina Vanesa Landi
Romina Vanesa Landi (b. 1977) is passionate about ending violence against women. She was inspired to create her painting ‘Corde Tese’ (‘Tense Ropes)’ to provoke dialogue and awareness about the subject. This piece was shown during an exhibition about violence against women at the international gallery Area Contesa Arte in Rome, where she frequently exhibits her work.
She likes to give a modern touch to encaustic painting when using hot wax or cold wax techniques. Her work was selected for the ‘International prize Leonardo da Vinci’ in Florence and published in the creative magazine ‘Art Now’ (September/October 2020 issue).
Romina is an advertising studies graduate who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, emigrated to Italy, and currently resides in Capena, near Rome.
