Magdalena Sikora
Magdalena Sikora is an artist and illustrator whose inspiration comes from music, literature, cinema and graphic design. She combines a variety of material in her work, including, watercolour, ink, pencil, acrylic paints and digital media.
“I stay curious and always keep learning. I love the concept of permanently unfinished pieces, the contrast between new and old, realism and abstraction, sketches and finished paintings. I am constantly looking for inspiration and improving my skills.”
Describing herself as ‘’somewhere between the illustration and painting world’’, Magdalena is experienced in commercial illustration work, particularly in children’s book illustration as well as commissioned projects as an artist. She is a graduate of Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts and currently resides in Krakow, Poland.
