Tomás Králik
Tomáš Králik currently works as the lead illustrator/designer at an independent creative agency in Martin, Slovakia. He focusses on illustration and visual identity projects for the agency and a range of clients including a mobile game and TV channel.
“My inspirations are artists like Jamie Hewlett, Stephen Bliss, Marcos Beccari. My work is loose but controlled, creating harmony in chaos. Capturing subtle moments and an atmosphere like in movies. I like strong compositions, rough textures. I prefer to work digitally but also experiment with watercolour and ink.”
The 23-year-old received his creative training at his local art and design high school, SSUŠ Martin. Tomáš works mostly in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate, and is learning Blender and Tvpaint to produce 2D animation. He is represented by LaVerde creative agency.
