Tan Chee Shan Cello
Singaporean freelance artist Tan Chee Shan Cello works as a 2D/3D Generalist focusing on Comic Art, Animation and Game Art Design.
Collaborating with software like Adobe, Autodesk and Pixologic, he primarily creates his work independently.
“I take drawing as a way of personal and inner expressions of invisible waves which can only be told through my artworks.
Inspirations for my artistic interest and influence come from those who’ve worked on animated cartoon series such as Kids Next Door, Tom and Jerry, Ed Edd n Eddy, Spongebob Squarepants and Courage The Cowardly Dog. However, my truest inspiration comes from those who have inspired the childhood of individual artists like myself, both from near and far”.
He is fascinated by animation conspiracies, which help to bring inspiration to his art and storytelling skills. “I work to improve my storytelling, to build fictional civilisations and worlds. I immerse myself in these worlds whilst witnessing my creations come to life.”
