Tamás Baranya
Self-taught artist Tamás Baranya is an illustrator based in Budapest, Hungary.
Although he obtained a degree in industrial design, Tamás never pursued that career path. He instead worked to hone his skills in illustration, comics and drawing to find success as an illustrator.
An expert in both Photoshop and Artrage, he also enjoys drawing with ink on paper, especially when drawing comics. “I value my autonomous work more than commercial work. My creative world contains dark themes mixed with humour and occasionally satire.”
“When I was younger, my main inspirations were the Fighting Fantasy book illustrations. Currently, my main inspirations are Junji Ito’s, Adrian Tomine’s and Satoshi Kon’s works.”
