Samuel Bermúdez Barbosa
Samuel Bermúdez is a Colombian caricaturist and illustrator. He graduated as a professional graphic designer with an emphasis on animation at the Escuela de Artes y Letras and then specialized as an illustrator at CENIGRAF. Artists like Sebastian Krüger, Thierry Coquelet and Al Hirschfeld motivated him to be a Caricaturist. His artistic style combines traditional and digital illustration, although he constantly explores new techniques to develop his artworks.
His work has been published in Imagen Palabra (2017), 101 tips para mejorar tu presencia en redes sociales as well as independent magazines and children´s books. He has produced narramatics for the commercials of Arroz Diana and Margarina Gustosita, caricatures for various agencies and currently works as a freelance children’s book illustrator for Libros&Libros publishing house. He also regularly produces personal creative projects.
