Natalia Nikulina
Natalia Nikulina is an artist and illustrator based in Russia.
She is currently working towards her MFA degree with an emphasis in children’s book illustration at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
In addition to her freelance practice, Natalia has extensive experience in the advertising industry and has worked in various in house roles including as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator. She has exhibited her artwork in Russia and Europe.
“In my artworks, I prefer to work in the watercolour technique and mixed media. I find my inspiration wherever I can – on the internet, observing people, in my travels. For illustrations, I prefer a combination of watercolour and digital technique. I like to work on the fairytale character and search for the personality in tiny details.”
