Nandor Moldovan
Nandor Moldovan is a Hungarian/Romanian artist based in the United Kingdom. He describes his work as “imaginary characters, designed from a story-telling approach.” He has a deep interest in human nature and animal behaviour and is inspired by real-life experiences, museums and books.
Nandor graduated with a degree in industrial design. He credits his studies in this field into shaping him into an artist with versatile problem solving and conceptualising capabilities.
Shortly after he moved to London, he started an internship at the creative studio Framestore, where he worked on the film adaptation of ‘Ready Player One’. He later joined the Concept/Previs studio, Painting Practice. This role allowed him to be thoroughly involved across multiple projects, tackling different challenges from character to set design and keyframe illustration. Recent projects produced include Black Mirror and His Dark Materials.
