I have been working as a professional illustrator for over 30 years, based in London, England. I create my illustrations in a mixture of ways but generally start with a dip-pen drawing which can be painted in watercolour or scanned and colour added digitally. I think of myself as a Modern Traditionalist.
My clients span the globe, from London to New York and onto Sydney as you can see from the examples here. I have worked for many luxury hotels and bespoke businesses, alongside commissions for magazines, designers and agencies.
My illustrations are mainly of maps, plans and garden designs. I also draw and paint architecture and pepper my maps with personalised or appropriate drawings which can also be produced as separate illustrations.
