Maurizio Esposito (paleostudio)

Illustrator Maurizio Esposito specialises in projects for the publishing industry. He began his freelance practice in 1998 and has worked as a visualiser and illustrator for clients including Baldini & Castoldi, IBI editions and Riza Edizioni. Maurizio studied Artistic Mastery at the Scuola del Fumetto of Milan. Describing his creative practice, he says, “The creative work is the continuous search for new ways to translate moods and concepts into appealing and interesting signs and shapes, narrating through images, both with traditional and digital techniques.”
Since 2001 he has worked on collectable card projects with the publisher Edibas (Dragonball, Pokemon, Marvel, Disney, etc.). In 2012 he designed the comic The stories of Max for FilcaCisl and also a webcomic. He has produced the catalogues DesignFor (2016) and Artistar Jewels (2017) for publisher Fausto Lupetti. Since 2016, Maurizio has been a graphic consultant at Publitalia’80. He was engaged by the Simmetrico Network to create the graphics for of the multimedia exhibition “Che Guevara - Tu y todos” (December 2017), for the “60 years in Italy - KPMG” event (May 2017) and the multimedia table for the Tonino Guerra Foundation. In 2018 publisher Diramix commissioned Maruzio to create the graphic design for card collections and FotoEdizioni editorial projects, including the sticker album of AS Roma 2018/19 and 2019/20.
