Polish artist Martin Broth (Marcin Rosłon) creates line art illustrations of modern art. The imperfection of the world around us inspires his monochromatic graphics. Martin’s characteristic aesthetic features exaggerated figures, dark features, animals and components from nature.

His work is a commentary on reality and questions widely accepted ideas. This narrative, alongside the use of symbols, forms the basis of his practice. Figures drawn by a slow hand, often messy or intentionally misshapen, express the beauty hidden in ubiquitous ugliness.

He began his practice drawing and painting on paper, but today Martin’s works are created in Adobe Photoshop using digital tablets. Music and street art have a significant influence on his creations.
