María José Buigues
Illustrator and graphic designer, María José Buigues, aka Majo Buigues, lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her illustrative works have a touch of humour and combine a mix of techniques such as collage, acrylic paint and vectors.
She has a degree in graphic design, complemented with extensive training in artistic techniques. The stories within her illustrations come to light by her expert combination of greyscale and neutral colours with saturated hues.
Recently her work has been selected by Apila Editions as one of the eight finalists in the Apila Primera Impresión 2019 Award, and it will exhibit at the Zaragoza School Art in Spain.
Maria José plans to continue to develop her portfolio of editorial and children’s publication illustration.
