Katharina Schießl
Katharina Schießl is an art director and illustrator based in Munich, Germany. Her client work focusses on projects for sustainable food businesses and cultural brands.

Katharina studied communication design in Augsburg. She finds inspiration in artists like August Macke, Edward Hopper, Paul Klee and also in documentary photographs.
“I used to draw during my whole childhood, and I’m thankful to have turned this passion into a career. My favourite illustration technique is watercolour, as I’m fascinated by its surprising, spontaneous effects. Watercolour painting always feels a bit like dancing with colour to me. Besides that, I’m curious about experimenting with paper cut, oil colour, and digital illustration.”
