Jawaria Hashmi
Concept artist, illustrator and global traveller, Jawaria Hashmi currently resides in Malaysia. Her academic background includes a degree in Game Art Development from Limkokwing University, Malaysia. She produces her art using Adobe Photoshop.
“I would describe my work as somewhat surreal with a storytelling element to it. I love to tell a story with my art, probably why I love to write comics. An ongoing project is my personal comic ‘INVASION’. It’s a mix of action and sci-fi.”
Jawaria works independently, but is active in her local creative community and has showcased her work at specialist art conventions such as Comic Fiesta.
