Ivan Boyko
Ivan Boyko is a 2D animator, visual effects artist and illustrator from Moscow, Russia.
Inspired by the artwork of Naouki Katoh, H.R.Gigger, Zdzislav Beksinski and the novels of Stanislav Lem, Ivan creates his own sci-fi worlds that are both dark and surreal in a traditional graphic art aesthetic.
A significant part of Ivanβs professional career has been dedicated to working in 2D animation. He was a part of a team of 2D effects animators working on the web television series Niko and the Sword of Light. He was also a lead 2D animator while working of the indie game project Terrorhythm. Throughout this time, Ivan simultaneously worked in the game development industry as a lead visual effects artist for
Mail.Ru Group.
Ivanβs future goals are to develop his own indie game utilising his diverse skill set of graphic arts, 2D animation, visual effects and game development.
