Idan Shani

 
 

Idan Shani is a multidisciplinary visual designer with experience in concept art, illustration, motion design, custom logos and icon sets. He welcomes any challenge or brief from clients and delights in delivering professional, innovative results. The core principles of his creative practice are clear visual communication and aesthetics.


He uses an eclectic combination of tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, pencils, Sharpies, and erasable markers. His work is inspired by concept artists, illustrators and designers such as Sid Mead, Moebius and Oliver Vaughan.

Idan studied visual communication at Wizo Haifa Academy o Design and Education, graduating with excellence.

He resides in Tel-Aviv, Israel. His clients include some of the country’s leading advertising agencies, set designers and film directors. Idan was awarded a silver medal in the 2018 Indigo Design Awards for his ‘Homegirl’ logo. His work has also featured in The Sketchbook Project World Tour book (2015), Semi-Permanent Annual book (2010), Empty Magazine Issue 10 (2007), Belio Magazine (2006-2007) and A5 Magazine (2007-2010).
