Harry Villamil Gutiérrez
Harry Villamil is a Colombian illustrator, photographer and designer with ten years of experience in the creative industries. He specialises in illustration, digital painting, environment design and character design for video games, animation and advertising projects. His clients are renowned brands such as McDonald’s, Fanta, Motorola, Fiat and For Honor. Harry’s credits also include production designer for projects including ‘The Fine Young Capitalists’ organisation.
Harry is passionate about image communication, artistic exploration, and mixing different creative techniques, from photography to 3D. His work has been celebrated by industry peers, and he was named one of the best Colombian illustrators by Bacánika. He is an active member of the creative community, and has participated in Salón Imagen palabra, Salón Visual Bacánika Magazine and spoke at the event, Hoy es Diseño, organised for Universidad Icesi.
He is currently working as a freelance illustrator. From his studio in Bogotá, Harry works with local and international production studios and advertising agencies. He also teaches character design, environment digital painting techniques in Photoshop and Procreate.
