Grotron (Mark Grote)
Mark Grotron is a concept artist, illustrator, sculptor, product designer, prototype designer and builder, inventor, and patent writer. His inspirations are people, nature, travelling, concept art, inventing, Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, and ZHIM (жим.).
His work combines industry-grade processes and techniques which complement his natural creativity and intuition. Mark’s creative practice utilises traditional and digital tools, and his core focus is environment design, though he also pursues prop, creature, vehicle and character design, including sculpting.
Mark holds a granted patent (#US8180073B1) on a drawing tablet that creates sound and art as one interactive medium. The technology is known as Sonic Art, and he is currently designing revolutionary software to take it to the next level.
