George Chandrinos
George Chandrinos is a freelance illustrator who is obsessed with details and colourful silkscreens. He studied graphic design at Akto Art & Design School, Athens and continued his education at Coventry University, UK where he graduated with a BA Hons degree in Illustration.
He participated in the 2010 ILLUSTRATION / LIFO exhibition at Benaki Museum and has been recognised in Berlin Graphic Days #1, Akto Behance Portfolio Review 2014 and Balkannabis Expo 2018. Indyvisuals Design Collective was his first creative family, and he is a current member of The Brood team. George produces his work digitally using the Procreate app, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. His favourite tools are an iPad Pro and Apple pencil.
After several years working for graphic design companies and advertising agencies, he chose to follow his own creative path and founded his freelance practice in his hometown of Athens, Greece.
George says, “My deep love and passion for design convinced me that it was time to be sent back to the underground…”
His freelance practice services a wide variety of commercial clients. He specialises in apparel design and has extensive experience designing for Basehit and Emerson clothing companies.
