Gabriela Rueda Medellin
Artist and designer, Gabriela Rueda enjoys exploring different styles and techniques to expand her creative practice. She is currently completing her Masterβs degree in Integrated Design in Cologne, Germany. In addition to her studies, Gabriela works with childrenβs book and application publishers as a digital illustrator and graphic designer. Her skillset also includes animation and concept development, and she has a particular interest in branding, textile and product design.
Her work in the arts is a visual overview of her inner world, where thoughts and ideas are compiled to express feelings of nostalgia and concern for various aspects of society. She explores composition and colour in her illustrations with tiny details creating a balance between saturated and empty spaces. Gabriela has exhibited her work in galleries since 2012 and has participated in shows in New York and throughout Mexico.
