Daniel Castrillón
Daniel is an illustrator and art director from Colombia, now residing in Barcelona, Spain. He graduated as a graphic designer in 2013 from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. Following this he undertook a course specialising in illustration at Leitmotiv, an academy focused on design and creativity. He is now studying a postgraduate course in Design Management.
“My work consists of constant exploration of expressions, patterns, textures, colours and culture. I started to illustrate through lettering, so you are going to notice that it is still part of my work. For many years I worried about not having a defined style, but with time I started to realise that’s a big advantage because it means I’m always exploring and reinventing my work.”
