Ayesha Afzal
Ayesha Afzal is an artist residing in Islamabad, Pakistan.
“Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer. With the dearth of artistic inspiration locally, I drew motivation from Kerby Rosanes. I wanted to forge my own path in the creative arts field, and attended Fatima Jinnah Women’s University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Arts, in which I majored in Graphic Designing and graduated valedictorian.”
Her course introduced her to professional graphic designing software; her favourite of which is Adobe Photoshop. Her final thesis was titled ‘Master Your Fears’, a fusion of art and psychology. The central theme was overcoming the many fears every individual subjectively experiences.
She has produced work for clients including Unicef, Black Box Sounds, and Impeccable Writings. Ayesha has recently exhibited her work in Islamabad.
