Andrés Avaray
Andrés Avaray is a visual storyteller. He creates imaginative, immersive worlds and characters that are open to interpretation and allow the viewer to construct their own narrative. For Andrés, storytelling is everything; it’s work, recreation and a way for him to gain a greater insight into his subconscious, imagination and understanding of life.
Throughout his career as a commercial artist, he has worked extensively producing artwork for videogames, animation assets, marketing collateral, editorial illustrations for magazine and book publishers, as well as creating artwork and for various museums.
His work has been recognised and awarded by industries bodies including the International illustration award (Illustra-Futurs) and PocketGamer.
He currently resides in Madrid, Spain.
