Amir Zand
Amir Zand is a freelance illustrator and concept artist specialising in marketing artwork and promotional illustration. Having illustrated more than 40 book covers, he currently works from Istanbul, Turkey where he creates highly stylised publication and entertainment industry artwork.
He has partnered with clients such as Axis Animation, 3dtotal, Scholastic (UK), Netflix and more. His graphic artwork has appeared primarily on book and magazines covers; he also works as a concept artist on various projects such as television advertisements, animation and film.
His most noteworthy project to date was working on the lavishly detailed and fantastically illustrated companion guide to Philip Reeveβs Mortal Engines. Amir was part of the illustrative team actualising the post-apocalyptic world in the guidebook titled Illustrated World of Mortal Engines, published by Scholastic (UK).
