Alfredo Gomez
Alfredo Gomez is a comic, manga and cartoon artist who describes his drawing style as “a mix of Japanese comics and American Saturday morning cartoons”. His passion for cartoons began at a young age growing up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman. Japanese and western artists influence his work and Alfredo cites Akira Toriyama, Eiichiro Oda, Todd McFarlane and Jhonen Vasquez as particular references.
He also finds inspiration from Japan’s top-selling mangas in the form of Viz’s Shonen Jump.
Initially working in pencil and paper, his preferred media has shifted to strictly digital techniques, utilising Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Paint Studio Pro, Anime Studio and Hash Inc Animation Master. His clients include Del Mar Media Arts.
