Alex Chen is a senior concept artist from California currently working on Super Evil Megacorp’s flagship title, Vainglory.
He studied at Art Center College of Design and Concept
Design Academy.
“Growing up, I was completely engrossed in anime, video games, action movies, and martial arts. Martial arts discipline and thematic character growth through hardship are a great influence on my day-to-day as an artist. I love fighting games like Street Fighter and appreciate the fighting game community as a whole. As hardcore and unforgiving as that community is, the humbling truth in losing to people greater than you is that you can’t blame others for your failure.
