Galadí Leiva
Alejandra Galadí Leiva aka ALASXE, is an illustrator, cartoonist and comic book author currently residing in Spain.
After an early introduction to visual art in high school where she excelled, Alejandra went on to study Fine Arts at college in Granada, Spain. As of 2014 she has been working a freelance artist and illustrator.
Her artwork is largely created leveraging the ProCreate application. Her illustrative style is highly feminine and common subjects within her work depict young female characters in everyday environments that are familiar yet, surreal and whimsical.
Inspiration for her work is fed by the early works of Walt Disney, Anime and 80’s movies.
In 2017 Alejandra was awarded first prize in the FICZONE comic contest.
Currently, she is working on a new comic titled Blair, which is scheduled for release in 2019 and will be available on all major digital platforms.
