Aida Hernández

Freelance illustrator Aida Hernández is inspired by Bouguereau, Roberto Ferri, Christian Schloe, Sam Spratt and cemetery sculptures. Her creative practice blends traditional and digital techniques. She produces her initial drawings using graphite on paper, and subsequently digitises and colours her work using Adobe Photoshop.

She was born in Elche, Spain and began exploring her creativity at an early age. Aida considered art as an opportunity to escape from real life. During her adolescence, she received drawing and painting classes to improve her technique. She moved to Seville to study fine arts at university and still lives in the city today. During her studies, Aida participated in the Piornal Embellishment project for three years as part of the Amalianos group.
