“Ever since I was a kid I loved drawing, but found that realism was a frustrating pursuit. After studying art history, I discovered many artists and artistic movements that did not depend on realism. This was a great inspiration to me and allowed me to experiment more freely within my work and throughout my career.
It was whilst I was studying to become a graphic designer that I realised that illustration was my passion, and that I wanted to pursue a career in this field. I was particularly drawn to the idea of problem solving via means of illustration.
My personal work is inspired by all culture pertaining to music and literature, These non-visual art forms offer amazing opportunities to be complemented visually.”
