It began at the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago and I’ve been exploring and creating since. Building off a foundation in figure drawing and traditional mediums has been really beneficial when considering new concepts in the digital realm. With so many interesting techniques to presently produce work, I find it personally important to keep evolving my process and seeing how I can push my skill set. My output ranges from screen printing to layered pencil/pen to paper along with a variety of transfers usually resulting in prints or t-shirts. Staying tapped into interesting influences is a big motivator. Seeing the work of FAILE always impresses and enjoying a cornerstone like Andrew Wyeth reminds me of the fundamentals.
