What’s the most important object in your studio? My printer.
Paper or plastic? Paper.
Favourite project you have produced so far? A combination of my series of Digital Abstracts and Geometric Digital Abstracts.
What are you working on right now? Further explorations in Digital Abstraction, as well as an ongoing series of Digital Sketches based on various scenes from across the globe. Japan is the current subject matter.
I’m also an artist/painter, and am in the process of coming up with a new body of work, constantly experimenting with thick, impasto, layered up oil paint creations of landscapes, again based on imagery collected from travelling, with a view to explore other mixed media and materials.
Favourite food? Sunday roast.
Coffee or tea? Coffee.
What’s your earliest creative memory? Doodling people, houses, all kinds of subject matter, using a colourful set of thick and thin nibbed Berol pens as a child.
How do you prefer to spend your mornings? Breakfast with a strong coffee, a walk in the surrounding fields/countryside with our pet lurcher, Ted, usually followed by a run/exercise to finish. It’s fairly routine, and sets me up
for the day.
